Your draft implementation plan document should address the following questions clearly:

  • What movement strategy initiative or goal are you addressing?
  • What activities will you be doing to address that initiative?
  • What do you expect will happen as a result of your activities? How do those outcomes address the movement strategy initiative?
  • How will you measure or evaluate your activities? What tools or methods will you use to evaluate your activities?

To create a draft implementation plan, we recommend the use of a logic model, which will help you and your team think about goals, activities, outcomes, and other factors in an organized way. Please refer the following resources to develop a logic model:

What Movement Strategy initiative is this draft plan supporting?

  • The draft plan is supporting improving user experience.

What activities have you completed to produce this draft plan? The project was embarked on and completed within the month of September 2021 with the following activities:

  • Meetups were held to talk about Wikimedia 2030 Movement Strategy Recommendations in order to know about people understanding about the whole movement.
  • Wikipedia was introduced to newcomers and also the minds of already existing users were refreshed.
  • We got an expert in Dagbani Language to teach participants the rules of translation in the Dagbani language. In this way, participants were able to translate the Wikimedia 2030 Movement Strategy Recommendations into Dagbani language without much stress

The following activities were paramount in producing the draft plan:

  1. Questionnaire was prepared for survey.
  2. Data was collected through the survey
  3. Analyzing the data we collected.
  4. Our findings and recommendations were put together in a report
  5. Our findings and recommendations were reported to community members.
