Aktivitas yang telah kita lakukan dalam proyek wikipatra ini adalah photowalk mendokumentasikan ragam hias di bali yang tersebar di 5 kabupaten kota. Selanjutnya kita mengadakan diskusi bersama pak Agung yang menjadi konsultan dalam proyek ini untuk mengatahui jenis dari ornamen yang kami foto. Setelah mengetahui nama dari setiap ornamen yang kami photo selanjutnya kami mengadakan edit a thon untuk mengupload file ke commons, membuat artikel di wikipedia bali, membuat butir wikidata dan membuat lema di wikikamus bahasa indonesia. hasil yang kami perloleh dari proyek ini adalah 575 photo dan illustrasi ke wikimedia commons, 40 artikel baru di wikipedia bali, 40 lema baru di wikikamus dan 40 butir baru di wikidata.
Hal yang sangat membantu dalam proyek ini adalah bekerjasama dengan ahli pada bidangnya. walaupun kami sudah menyiapkan buku terkait jenis ornamen yang ada di bali, kenyataanya karena ornamen merupakan karya seni buatan manusia yang memiliki intepretasinya sendiri. Beberapa ornamen sangat sulit diketahui jenisnya tanpan bantuan dari ahlinya. selain itu pak agung juga membantu dalam pemilihan tempat pendokuemtasian sehingga kami dapat mendokumentasikan beragam jenis ornamen dalam satu objek Pura.

You can recall these learning questions below: Dengan berkolaborasi bersama dosen seni rupa dari Institut seni Indonesia Denpasar, kami berharap dapat mempelajari macam-macam jenis ragam hias yang ada di bali serta latar belakang dan inspirasi dibaliknya.
Dengan mengadakan photowalk bersama kami juga ingin mempelajari bagaimana cara menarik minat sukarelawan untuk ikut berpartisipasi dalam proyek-proyek komunitas.
Poin pertama yang ingin kami pelajari yaitu mengenal jenis-jenis ragam hias yang ada di bali. Para peserta kegiatan wikipatra ini kini telah menambah wawasan mereka dalam mengenal ragam hias yang ada di bali. bahkan dengan proyek ini meningkatkan ketertarikan mereka dalam mempelajari lebih lanjut terkait ragam hias yang ada di bali.
Untuk poin nomer dua terkait pembelajaran untuk menarik minat sukarelawan terlibat dalam kegiatan komuniatas, untuk point ini kami hanya berhasil mengajak wukarelawan yang sebelumnya sudah bergabung namun fakum untuk ikut lagi baergabung dalam proyek-proyek komunitas. Kami cukup kesulitan untuk mengajak peserta baru untuk ikut karena beberapa faktor seperti komunitas kami yang masih belum banyak dikenal dan mungkin kurangnya minat masyarakat untuk terlibat dalam proyek ini.
Dari hal-hal yang kami pelajari dalam proyek ini, kedepannya kami lebih memilih bekerjasama dengan dosen-dosen dari universitas yg ada di Bali. karena ternyata proyek-proyek semacam ini juga bermanfaat bagi dosen dalam tugasnya mengabdikan ilmunya ke masyarakat. selain itu kami juga membuka pintu untuk bekerjasama dengan mahasiswa-mahasiswa yang diayomi dosen tersebut untuk mengikuti proyek kami berikutnya dan diharapkan dapat bergabung juga di dalam komunitas wikimeida denpasar.

Beberapa objek yang hendak kami photo adalaah objek cagar budaya atau dalam tahap pendaftaran situs cagar budaya. namun beberapa pemangku objek tersebut memiliki pemahaman yang berbeda terkait cagar budaya dimana semestinya dapat dimanfaatkan semua masyarakat namun menurut mereka hasus mendapatkan persetujuan dari dinas yang terkait. Hal yang kami pelajari dari kendala ini adalah untuk menyiapkan lebih banyak objek alternative bila mana terjadi hambatan dan jika ada waktu yang cukup sebaiknya melakukan survey terlebih dahulu sebelum melakukan kegiatan disana.

Rencananya kami akan mempersentasikan pengalaman kami di proyek ini dalam Konfrensi Wikinusantara yang diadakan oleh Wikimedia Indonesia dan dihadiri sukarelawan proyek-proyek wiki dari seluruh indonesia. File persentasinya juga akan kami unggah di commons supaya bisa diakses semua orang.
