1. Briefly describe how your proposed activities and strategies were implemented
In general, all stages of the project were implemented within the established plan: Work on the project began according to the agreed upon date and was completed within the timetable. I believe that the level of communication with Arab orgamizations interested in secular issues achieved the goal to a large extent.
2. Were there any strategies or approaches that you felt were effective in achieving your goals? Please describe these strategies and approaches.
The most important goal that has been achieved is communication and joint construction between well-established Arab institutions interested in secular topics. This communication must continue in order to achieve diversity within the Arabic Wikipedia community. Working with a team that specializes in topics that are important today helps people have the courage to discuss ideas that they are not used to thinking about. Bridging the gap, even if relatively, between the Arab Wikipedia community, which is unintentionally far from the approach and method of civil, secular, and feminist work institutions, and the beginning of introducing activities that were not taken into consideration in the Arabic Wikipedia, this work must continue during the coming months with broader participation from the Arab community to complete the basic goal, which is the advancement With secular content on the Arabic Wikipedia

I have already requested assistance to arrange a discussion with the Grants Committee to work on developing the project by encouraging researchers to contribute to developing underrepresented topics and attracting new people by deepening relations with prestigious Arab institutions in this regard.

6. In your application, you outlined your learning priorities. What did you learn about these areas during this period?
I obtained extensive experience in organizing the method of communication and joint work between the Wikimedia Foundation and contemporary secular Arab institutions. - The ability to define work methods and improve the implementation mechanism has increased - A better picture has been created of how to attract new people to the Arabic Wikipedia encyclopedia
7. Did anything unexpected or surprising happen when implementing your activities?This can include both positive and negative situations. What did you learn from those experiences?
A larger number of editors must be involved in any Wikipedia process, as the rules changed over the period of project implementation and thus increased pressure on the main editor if his time was full of appointments.
8. How do you hope to use this learning? For instance, do you have any new priorities, ideas for activities, or goals for the future?
The experience has become great, and work will begin within months to complete the project objectives through a new project. Overcoming routine difficulties to involve a larger number of editors in the work and establishing an organizational committee between Arab editors and Arab secular institutions are now being discussed.

- The work was carried out by people who do not live in the same geographical location, and therefore the difference in time and working hours constituted a clear obstacle to communication.
- The reception of the project idea in the Arab community was not bad, but it was also not good, due to the marginalization of these topics for a large period within the Arabic Wikipedia, and its presentation was full of opposition and lack of reception of ideas.
- The number of editors who welcomed the idea of creating a similar project and participating in it is very limited
12b. How do you hope to overcome these challenges in the future? Do you have any recommendations for the Foundation to support you in addressing these challenges?
In the future, work will be done with the small number that received the ideas positively, but the foundation’s support will form the cornerstone for fully representing these topics within Arab society.
The support required is to help continue implementing such projects and not lose hope due to the unintended marginalization of these ideas within the Arab Wikipedia community.
