Part 1 Understanding your work edit
1. Briefly describe how your proposed activities and strategies were implemented
Our activities were mainly focused on the educational institutions in the Kerala, which include Secondary school, senior secondary school, graduate and post graduate students in different places. This broad approach has allowed us to reach students and educators at various stages of their academic journeys. We focused students as well as teachers and professors in these institutions. This holistic approach ensures that knowledge dissemination and the spirit of collaboration extend to both students and their mentors. Educational institutions have been taken these programmes as their prestigious events and cooperated well with the keen enthusiasm to the freedom of knowledge that Wikimedia movements always strives for. We have instilled a sense of enthusiasm among students and educators for the freedom of knowledge that Wikimedia movements stand for and they have been constantly keeping editing in wikidata and Wikipedia pages.
2. Were there any strategies or approaches that you felt were effective in achieving your goals? Please describe these strategies and approaches.
Targeted Editing Topics:
Our approach to editing on Wikidata involved a deliberate selection of topics, taking into consideration both the relevance to the participants' academic level and the appropriateness of the content. For instance, at Malayalam University, where participants were graduate and postgraduate students specializing in history, our editing efforts were focused on preserving historical knowledge. Consequently, the tasks primarily revolved around enhancing and expanding historical articles on Wikipedia.
Similarly, at the Senior Secondary School, where students were preparing for civil service examinations, we concentrated on building Wikidata items for renowned civil servants from Kerala, particularly District Collectors, who did not yet have Wikidata entries. This approach ensured that our training aligned with the students' career aspirations and provided them with valuable experience in data creation and contribution to the platform.

Part 2: Your main learning edit
6. In your application, you outlined your learning priorities. What did you learn about these areas during this period?
1. 80% participants who participated across the educational programme is able to understand and familiar with various Wikimedia projects and their potential as educational resources. And they also had trial run with wikidata, wikipedia and commons for the educational purpose.
2. 80% participants responded to the workshop very actively. During the time of interactive presentation majority of them asked doubts and questions appropriately. 20% participants had no devices such as laptops or mobile phons so that they were joining with other participants to fill the gap.
3. Workshop encouraged participants to actively contribute to Wikimedia projects. As per the current data 41 active participants who edit in Wikidata, Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons.
4. The workshop contributed to increased awareness and understanding of free knowledge and open educational resources in the local community. If so, how many participants continued to contribute after the workshop?
7. Did anything unexpected or surprising happen when implementing your activities? This can include both positive and negative situations. What did you learn from those experiences?
Yes. , when we coordinated an educational program at Face Campus, the authorities embraced this initiative with enthusiasm, considering it a prestigious event. Consequently, they arranged a grand ceremony for prize distribution, graced by renowned civil service dignitaries who honored the awardees curated by our organizing team. The award ceremony witnessed the attendance of hundreds of individuals. I learned that this kind of session would be helpful if we can arrange for prize distribution so that wider community will be aware about Wikimedia and participants will feel proud.
8. How do you hope to use this learning? For instance, do you have any new priorities, ideas for activities, or goals for the future?
Indeed. We will use this strategy for the coming programmes and I will write about this programme in blog. And we also will talk about this in different conferences. So that other community members also will get an inspiration.
9. Documentation of resources: Use this space to upload any documents that would be useful to share with others (e.g. communications material, training material, presentations).
