Grants:IdeaLab/Wikkibo (Igbo)

Wikkibo (Igbo)
The Igbo language is one of the three major languages spoken in Nigeria, spoken majorly by the south easterners and some parts of the south south regions. The Igbo culture is currently dying off slowly due to much influence from the Western world and neglect of the culture of the land by the younger generation, much effort had come and gone in the quest to correct this trend, but as the saying goes " When the cow wouldn't move, don't try to force her but try to understand and play along with her." This is exactly the idea Wikkibo (Igbo) intend bringing to the table. Wikkibo (Igbo) wish to use the platform under the umbrella cover of Wikkipedia to teach the younger generation of Nigeria on how to stand for the cultural values of it people and never to let it die off, especially the Igbo (ibo) culture.
