Find Solution
editThey have to be blocked and/or banned from destructive edits, but maybe the process does need to be looked-at again from the view of a new editor, and how it looks and feels to them? And maybe using kinder language/graphics if needed? Maybe direct them better to a time-out, or moderated-only editing allowed, where they could be guided through tutorials and quizzes? The thing about banning and blocking new or inexperienced editors, is that at the point where they are blocked, or banned, we have them . Are we telling them, "Leave-go away, don't come back."? Or, can we expand new editor retention by offering them a more fluid and friendly path to being an editor? TeeVeeed (talk) 16:14, 19 March 2016 (UTC)

- Volunteer It has always been very frustrating to see ones article cancelled by an editor instead of receiving help for improving it. I'm certainly not an experienced editor, but I would love to find some way of finding help and providing Wikipedia with quality content. Pingu (talk) 16:17, 22 March 2016 (UTC)
