Project idea edit

Most of the times I open up a wikipedia page I would see a lot of content, text and text in black with a few hyperlinks in blue here and there. I find it really hard to get the content I want, and have to read a lot of unnecessary text. Okay so this is the way its supposed to be right?

Now given that I have a really bad memory I forget what I learnt in a few days so I visit the page again. What now? I have to find my way out to the content the same old way I did before. Wouldn't it be easier if there was an option to mark/highlight text? like we do in textbooks..

Yeah, I am talking about being able to highlight text in wikipedia per user per page
