Project idea
editWhat is the problem you're trying to solve?
editHow to manage article harassment.
What is your solution?
editPerhaps create a few more sub-pages besides talk, history, etc. including article comments, or an opinions page. So if a contributor creates an article page about Leprechauns and some other reader takes such great offense at the article or an element of the article, they can post on the opinions page their dissent. In regards to pure trolling/harassment allow any contributor to mark any section as "departing from or denigrating original topic". If a second contributor agrees or a wikipedia moderator confirms - then that comment is pushed to the opinion page. A second attempt by same poster to denigrate would create a 30 day freeze on that article for that poster and such a freeze would be posted on the opinion page or perhaps a contributors page. Create an air of self-responsibility by having a sub-page for opinions, likes and dislikes and contrary information, debate or dismissive information, that doesn't reach the standard of harassment/troll. Hope that was clear!

editAbout the idea creator
editI'm a recent contributor to Wikipedia, still learning the rules and such, so I am in baby-steps mode still.
Participants
edit- Advisor This is my original idea. I am quite effective at the spoken word and have a background in human behavior. I've also had the opportunity to moderate production level internet communities as a volunteer and was promoted to the highest rank below owner to help organize a large group of other volunteers as well as user/clients. I think my insight and advice would be helpful. Zerostatetechnologies (talk) 08:35, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
