Project idea
editWhat is the problem you're trying to solve?
edit- An educator or trainer of Wikipedia editors may have to deal with a lot of students for a long time of training (up to months). It is very hard to track progress to help trainees and make education program better without progress evaluation tools. This is especially true with a curriculum that is adapted to each trainee's needs and we have to deal with a different leafage of knowledge for each trainee.
What is your solution?
edit- Use a database system to store progress of trainees, in which they also have access in order to self-evaluate, the trainer evaluates the trainees, the trainees evaluate the trainer, the hours of classes and lessons teached are recorded, questionaries are designed and filled, etc. Topics for teaching and evaluation should be easily set by trainers/teachers. Rubricks1234 should be implemented for higher levels of evaluation and this should be taken into account (here self-evaluation has also the role of tutorial or resumption).
- A parallel or next step will be to organize education material, as work sheets created by professors of informatics or others, under educational objectives of Wikipedia education programs (example) and relate them to Evaluation.
Project goals
editEducation keeps Wikipedia in a distance. Thinking, wording, designing, planning and acting their way not only makes our education programs more efficient but also relates Wikipedia more closely and strongly to Education.
