Project ideaEdit

What is the problem you're trying to solve?Edit

Congress only listens to those who show up; how do we communicate the public policy views of the community with the political system

What is your solution?Edit

small groups could brief staff of members of congress. building on the previous work of WikiLoves Capitol Hill

previous efforts used no money, but some travel funds and meal funds would enable more people to engage the Congress.

incorporating the work of https://policy.wikimedia.org/ would leverage the WMF efforts.

GoalsEdit

brief congress; communicate public policy concerns; listen to congress; communicate political process to community
