This session will give participants a better understanding of the project management cycle and how project management works in their contexts. It will provide opportunities for learning about and adopting specific tools, which will be prevented by peer experts.
Specific learning objectives
Experience gain a better understanding of the project management cycle, and identify challenges and future learning goals specific to their contexts. Identifying specific project management tools to explore or adopt, that are discussed by peer experts.
Session Format: Discussion and short talks

- Amount of time required: Planning for 75 minutes although we could do this in a shorter time with fewer topics.

Education Program & Resources
editSession Abstract: Participants will get an overview of existing tools and resources geared towards program leaders for planning and running an education program. We will focus primarily on the Education Toolkit and education learning patterns. This is also an opportunity for participants to give feedback and identify gaps or ways to improve the resources available.
Specific learning objectives:
- Participants will learn what resources are available to leaders at the different stages of an education program.
- Participants will also be comfortable finding appropriate resources and know what communication channels are available for follow up support and feedback.
Session Format: Workshop / Project clinic (depending on number of participants)

GLAM, Libraries Tools, & Resources
editSession Abstract: For this session, we will examine the changes in strategies and opportunities in GLAM-Wiki and TWL. We will: highlight existing community strategies for these programs; identify recent trends in both outreach efforts for meeting programmatic goals; and, discuss the documentation and tool needs for improving assessment and impact of research and cultural heritage outreach. As part of this session, we ask participants to be prepared to share their experiences with GLAM-Wiki and TWL projects.
Specific learning objectives: At the end of the Participants Will Be Able To:
- Discover emerging tools and strategies for engaging cultural heritage and research partnerships
- Understand where new opportunities exist to create impact through cultural heritage and research partnerships
- Bring these materials local communities in assessing the impact of outreach to cultural heritage and research partnerships.
