ASO accreditations
What are the objectives of this program? (include your indicators).

Amaury Sport Organisation (ASO) is a company which creates and organizes international sports events. Their 40 events (eg Tour de France, Dakar Rally…) cover for 250 days of competition per year. We contacted this organisation to obtain accreditation for all their events.

The general objectives of this project are
  • Allow the members to make photographs in good conditions (usually only for press card holders)
  • Enrich the projects regarding first class French sport events.
Calendar

On December 14, Nathalie Martin met with the staff member in charge of promotional projects and media partnerships to kickstart the project.

On January 13, we were confirmed that two accreditations per event (one journalist and one photographer) would be given to Wikimedia France.

For some events, it will be possible to cover them “from the inside” − given a good enough level in running or cycling. We will be notified of the events and their dates gradually;

On January 14, the news is delivered to the chapter members.
