''Reshaping Rwanda's Narrative''

GS St Robert Ruhunda WikiClub is an integral part of the Wikimedia Rwanda WikiClub initiative, a groundbreaking program dedicated to promoting digital literacy, collaborative learning, and open knowledge sharing among young people in Rwanda. As one of the student-led clubs established under this initiative, GS Gishari WikiClub provides a platform for students to actively contribute to global knowledge platforms like Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons.

The club focuses on equipping its members with essential skills such as research, writing, and digital content creation while encouraging them to document and share local knowledge, culture, and history—particularly in underrepresented languages like Kinyarwanda. Through their contributions, students at GS St Robert Ruhunda WikiClub are helping to ensure that Rwanda’s unique heritage and perspectives are represented and accessible on a global scale.

This effort is significant because it empowers young Rwandans to bridge the digital divide and participate actively in the global knowledge ecosystem. By engaging in this initiative, GS St Robert Ruhunda WikiClub not only enhances students' digital skills but also fosters a sense of pride in their cultural identity. It nurtures a collaborative spirit and a commitment to knowledge equity, demonstrating how open knowledge can be a powerful tool for community transformation.

Through GS St Robert Ruhunda, students are not just consumers of information but active contributors to a more inclusive and representative body of global knowledge.
