My Experience at the GLAM Wiki Conference Philippines 2024

Day 1

On the first day of the conference, I was able to take notes on the important history of the Vigan City. We also toured inside the museum. I have an amazing experience with the other people around me. I also had the experience to see and imagine how former president Quirino lived.

Day 2

On the second day of the conference, I learned about macro photography and I contributed in parting my experience as a proofreader on Wiki loves manuscripts. I also had fun on the dinner where I won a bag. The people were so happy that night, we slept with the smile on our faces.

Day 3

It's the last day of the conference. We toured around Ilocos Norte, particularly in the Ilocos Provincial Capitol, Sand dunes, and the Malacañang of the North. I really had fun there interacting with people. I also had a chance to be with the amazing photographers.

My plans after the conference would be applying all of the knowledge I gathered from the conference to my learning as an architecture student. I would like to suggest that if we could visit more galeries, museum, and libraries that would benefit for all of us. This also helps us to further understand the importance of GLAM in our individual lives.
