What about Latin? I think it'd be cool (and scholarly) for Wikipedia to have a Latin motto -- perhaps something like "Scientia est liber"? (I think that means "Knowledge is free"; please correct me if I'm wrong.)
Or perhaps pseudo-Latin: "Weni, Widi, Wiki"?

Actually, that's how weni, widi, wiki, is how VINI VIDI VICI is prounounced. :)

Geoffrey: The "Weni, Widi, Wiki" (WWW?) was suggested somewhat facetiously. Seriously, I was thinking of something along the lines of "Scientia ad popula" (Knowledge to the People). Again, someone please check my Latin, in case I screwed up. Grazie.
