NOTE: This is just a rough sketch of another concept I had. The hexagons represent the honeycomb of a beehive, a symbol of communal activity toward a common goal. The unseated hex indicates that the figure — like Wikipedia itself — is perpetually under construction and will never truly be complete.

maybe this picture could be enhanced by some stylised bees doing a communication dance. The dancing movement could easily resemble the "W" of Wikipedia, the stripes on the bees bodys the double square brakets... uwe 80.139.8.93 20:17, 24 Aug 2003 (UTC)

I like this one --get rid of the black line, make the whole thing more compact, relative to the text, space the shapes out a bit more thoughtfully, and play with different colors. Get rid of the bees. -Stevertigo 19:25, 30 Aug 2003 (UTC)
