I thought this would be an interesting idea. Sure, it's text, but I daresay the exclamation mark appears in most, if not all of the Wikipedia languages. (But then, I'm probably wrong.) Just an attempt at a simple, yet easily recognizeable symbol. --Jordon Kalilich, 2003-07-24

I think you need 3D glasses to view this logo.

This logo represents absolutely no content. It's good of you to come up with such a simplistic piece of art, nonetheless I think this is horrible. Anonymous.

This is rather silly. No offense, but its redundant. - user:zanimum

The symbol is easily recognized, but it isn't clear what it symbolizes in relation to Wikipedia. -- Stephen Gilbert 03:16 27 Jul 2003 (UTC)

At first I thought the exclamation mark would be a good idea, because it's international (see above), and it signifies (in a way) the spirit of Wikipedia. You come searching for something, and then - aha! - you find it. I also thought the tripled effect would be cool too. It looks like this logo isn't very popular, and I can see why. Therefore, I am withdrawing it from the contest. --Jordon Kalilich, 2003-07-27

Hey, at least you had a go! Take everything as constructive criticism and try again... you've got time. Who knows, the next time may be a winner! You can develop your skills, and even if you can't realise a concept you might have yet, you are thinking about a meaning before you start "putting pen to paper". This is a step ahead of a lot of other people, and a good way to approach any design brief, especially one as open as this. I'd love to see another submission from you! I've also submitted entries 13 and 23, if you want to see them. :) --Jordon Kalilich, 2003-07-31

Ah, sorry about that. I've commented on 23... good job! Neolux 19:50 31 Jul 2003 (UTC)
