I like the font, with the large "A" at the end for symmetry. The green stuff is nice, but they look a lot like limes, and thus remind me of Limewire. 129.97.90.101 20:47 23 Jul 2003 (UTC)

LOL, haven't thought of that, the colours can be changed, that's not an issue. -- Gutza 21:20 23 Jul 2003 (UTC)

I like it! distinctive, not cluttered, not trying to mean anything (no books, globes etc), nice font -- 213.105.87.216 09:18 24 Jul 2003 (UTC)

I think this is actually quite good. We definitely need a very colorful logo - en:user:Colipon

Oh well, I'm not so much in favor of a very colorful logo per se, but that combination of colours coveys the idea of completeness, as those are the seven colours in the visible spectrum, with red in the center, separating the two representations of the spectrum. -- Gutza 21:20 23 Jul 2003 (UTC)

I think this logo is actually one of the best we have here... Maybe we could develope it further to represent a much more braod basis of things. What's your take? en:user:Colipon 20:18 24 Jul 2003 (UTC)

Agree with above. Shows you about good design. You know it when you see it.

I also like this design, but what if that last red circle on either end was dropped and the circles were shifted a bit in response... Then you get an infinity symbol that goes in an infinite loop that always goes around the spectrum... No matter which way you look at it... Either way though I do like this one -- 65.65.9.143 23:04 24 Jul 2003 (UTC)

This logo looks like something I have seen elsewhere, some major brand, but I don't remember which one MSNBC, maybe? -- Tillwe 18:44 25 Jul 2003 (UTC)

It reminded me of The Dome, some music event. -- en:User:JeLuF 20:20 25 Jul 2003 UTC

This logo has "movement" and conveys a sense of motion and constant change. Very appropriate. It works well in all scales, in different colors and in b&w. It is flexible - it could be animated for TV, made into sculpture to hang in the cathedral-like lobby of the Wikipedia world headquarters, printed as a pattern on a necktie. It is clean, modern and professional looking, yet it has a sense of fun. Very nice. Ataraxia 20:38 4 Aug 2003 (UTC)

Theres something interesting here, certainly. Maybe it wants to go in a more cohesive direction -- as it stands it looks like a scattered pattern -- what else should it convey? -Stevertigo

I've got a strong problem with this logo: how is it related to Wikipedia ? Why would it be Wikipedia's logo more than anyone else's ? Other than that, it's nice enough, but that's not sufficient IMO. --FvdP 18:11, 13 Aug 2003 (UTC)
