English: This chart tests the assumption of OLS regression that the residuals of the model are normal. The plot shows that a normal distribution fits most of the distribution well, however extreme values (both high and low) of residuals are more common than a normal distribution would predict. This is not a great surprise. While the reading time data are do not perfectly fit a log-normal distribution, we are using a log normal distribution to model reading times. |
