DescriptionThe Parliament of Canada, Ottawa 01.jpg
English: The Parliament of Canada is the federal legislature of Canada which is located at Parliament Hill in Ottawa, the capital of Canada. It's composed of three parts: the King, the Senate, and the House of Commons.
The Parliament Buildings were built between 1859 and 1866, with the exception of the tower and the library. One year after their completion, Canada became a country. And the buildings were immediately chosen as the seat of government. The modern-day Parliament of Canada came into existence in 1867.
