El friso de elaborado detalle es similar al de Maisón Carrée (en Nimes, Francia), y ambos templos están considerados como los dos templos íntegros en mejor estado fuera de Italia.
English: Temple of Augustus, Pula, Croatia. The Roman temple is dedicated to the first Roman emperor, Augustus, it was probably built during the emperor's lifetime at some point between 27 BC and his death in AD 14. The richly decorated frieze is similar to that of Maison Carrée (Nîmes, France), and these two temples are considered the two best complete Roman monuments outside Italy. Prawdopodobnie została zbudowana za życia cesarza pomiędzy 27 p.n.e., a jego śmiercią w 14 n.e. Bogato zdobiony fryz jest podobny do tego ze świątyni Maison CarréeNîmes, we Francji. Obie te świątynie są uważane za najlepiej zachowane rzymskie zabytki poza Włochami.

Il fregio grandemente decorato è simile a quello della Maison Carrée di Nîmes, in Francia: i due templi sono infatti considerati i monumenti romani più belli, tra quelli rimasti intatti, al di fuori dell'Italia.
