  • Prentenboek met vijf paginagrote litho's waarop binnen een rode sierrand bestaande uit vier halve cirkels een groot tafereel wordt getoond, en in de hoeken daarbuiten nog vier kleinere scènes. Robinson spoelt aan op het onbewoonde eiland en verblijft er jaren. Er komen menseneters en hij bevrijdt een slachtoffer die hij Vrijdag noemt. Ook een Engelsman wordt door Robinson gered en alle drie varen ze terug naar Hamburg.
