English: John Proctor was sentenced to 5 years Penal Servitude for cattle stealing.
On release, on 06-Oct-1893, he was 26 years old; his complexion was described as fresh, his hair light brown, and his eyes grey. His height was 5 feet 8 1/4 inches. On the register, his marks were partially obscurated, but the legible part says: Scar on right ear...right eyebrow, tattoo....left forearm and tattoo ....middle finger left hand,....on chin and hardly any on cheeks. His address on release was 204 George Street, Aberdeen.
