Description
English: Exquisite woodwork on the wooden pillars of tiled roofed Brindavan Chandra temple at Maheshpur (Mandirbazar P.S.) in South 24 Parganas district.

It is said that after the original brick built Brindavan Chandra temple was demolished , its wooden pillars with on them were fixed with this tiled structure. The deity of the temple is black stone built Krishna idol along with Radha made of Astadhatu. The pillars seems to be dating from 17th century.

There are 11 wooden pillars in total with exquisite woodwork on them, which are decaying with the passing of days.
