J'ai pris cette photo pour tenter de partager la vue que les moines cisterciens du 13ème siècle pouvaient avoir de leur jardin à travers ce vitrail, situé à l'arrière de l'abbaye.

Il est possible qu'un paisible potager soit devenu aujourd'hui un joli jardin d'herbes folles et de fleurs sauvages... Les altérations introduites par le vitrail sont peut être le reflet du temps qui passe et qui transforme notre perception.

I took this picture trying to share what a 13th century Cistercien monk could see true this leaded glass window located at the back of the abbey.

It is possible that a quiet kitchen garden became a pretty wild grass and wild flowers garden... The fading introduced by the leaded glasses are perhaps the reflect of the passing of time which changes our perception.
