English: A page ripped out from The Economist by China's censorship department. Photoed in Liaoning Provincial Library. Foreign publications like The Economist are mostly imported by only a handful of state-owned companies, and they will censor unwanted contents by using ink, tape, or just rip the whole page off when importing and clearing customs. The content was page 28, on June 1st, 2019 issue of The Economist. The content was about the 1989 Tiananmen Square Protests.
