Event:WIKIEDU Technical Training in Uganda 2024
#Wikisoccerthons project idea was developed in November 2019 at Wiki Indaba in Abuja, then the Wiki Soccerthon 2024 in Uganda Poster.pngUser group's planned for implementation of this pilot since 16 May 2020, and was approved as one of the user group's annual projects on 20 August 2020.
In 2024, the project will run from 1st August to 30th November with the aim of creating & improving Wikipedia articles, translate existing articles from English to Luganda, upload soccer media files on Wikimedia Commons and do Wikidata items for Federations, Associations, Football Clubs, Players, Stadiums and Coaches.
