Event:Federal Polytechnic Nekede Ig Wiki Fan Club Launch

To increase a wider audience reach and to create a wider space for the enhancement and advancement of free knowledge resources and accessibility, the Federal Polytechnic Nekede Ig Wiki Fan Club is established as one of the tertiary institutions that will serve as a Fan Club base for both the students and staff of the institution, teaching/training them how to become Wikimedians and how to contribute to the various Wikimedia various projects. The establishment of this fan club is through the sponsorship of the Igbo Wikimedians User Group

Objectives

• To create a Wikimedia presence in the Federal Polytechnic Nekede
• To establish a fan club in the institution
• To help and enlighten the students and staff of the institution to become Wikimedians by first creating and registering their usernames
• To help train them to start contributing to the Wikimedia projects.

Physical Launch: 25th April, 2024

Mini Contest: 25th April - 9th May, 2024

Review and Winners Announcement: May, 2024
