Wikieducation. Educational practices and experiences in Mexico with Wikipedia and other open resources.
The objective that we have with the book from Wikimedia Mexico is to exchange experiences and educational strategies with teachers, academic staff, collectives and anyone from other geographies, who are committed to the collective construction of free and accessible knowledge for everyone.
At the same time, we start from the need to make visible the importance of involving students in their educational processes, but also the responsibility that we as a society have in being part of them. May we know that each and every one of us has something to say and, therefore, knowledge to share with others.
We know that Wikieducation: Educational Practices and Experiences of Mexico with Wikipedia and other open resources, is just one of the many struggles for free knowledge that is taking place in different latitudes of the world and that motivates us to continue weaving networks with those who are willing to build collectively. We are working hard so that in December we have the book in our hands and in our digital libraries so that we can share it with all the people committed to education and continue building new educational imaginaries.
