During the period from August to December 2022, the Wikimedia Mexico Education Program Audio-seminars were carried out on the last Wednesday of each month, where the aim was to dialogue, debate, share and reflect on academic articles related to Wiki and non-Wiki projects.

These meetings were held through the Clubhouse application, which is a social network based on virtual rooms with conversations on different topics. In our case, we use it to rest from video calls, but without diminishing the importance of meeting to share our projects and continue building collectively from different latitudes.

The sessions had a length of 1 hour and consisted of inviting a person allied with the free knowledge to share with us a project they were carrying out and their experience working on topics such as open education, free culture, the decolonization of learning and collaborative technology.

In August, we were accompanied by teacher Paula Susana Larios, who teaches at the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria 5 José Vasconcelos from UNAM, who told us about Wikipedia, una herramienta para visitar virtualmente al invernadero de la ENP 5 durante la pandemia, which was implemented as a teaching and learning strategy during confinement by COVID-19. In September, Melissa Huertas from the Wikimedia Foundation Education Team told us about her experience in Leamos Wikipedia en el Aula: REA apoyando el desarrollo docente para el aprendizaje virtual en la era de la información; professional development program for secondary level teachers in the use of Wikipedia as a pedagogical tool to promote media and information literacy skills and as an open educational resource in access to quality education. For October, we were accompanied by Luisina Ferrante and Florencia Guastavino; both are members of the Wikimedia Argentina Education team and who told us about the book Wikipedia, educación y derechos humanos. Investigaciones para pensar los usos de los proyectos Wikimedia en las aulas that they carried out during 2021, their editing process, and the importance of this resource in the construction of collaborative knowledge. To close the cycle of Audio-Seminars, in November we invited the educational community of Mexico that collaborated in the Wikieducación. Prácticas y experiencias educativas de México con Wikipedia y otros recursos abiertos. Where we talked about the experience of each one of the teachers including Wikipedia inside and outside their classrooms and how this has transformed their pedagogical practice. From the Wikimedia Mexico Education Program, we thank all the people who participated in the Audio-Seminars and with whom we share our contributions and reflections on our role in the construction of free and collective knowledge.
