62+ Participants Graduates from the Kiwix4Schools Africa Mentorship Program

Recently, the Kiwix4Schools Africa Mentorship Program held a memorable graduation ceremony, attended by 55 people, including the esteemed presence of Kiwix CEO, Stephane Collete. The event marked the successful completion of the program by 62 participants from 20 different countries, out of the 100 who initially enrolled.

Summary: 62 participants from 20 countries graduated from the Kiwix4Schools Africa Mentorship Program. The Kiwix4school Africa Mentorship Program is just one of the many initiatives undertaken by Open Foundation West Africa to promote open knowledge and equal access to education. The program was launched in March 2023 and students were enrolled for the program May through to June. Graduation ceremony was held in June to celebrate the brilliant achievement and perseverance of these participants.

The program, spanning over two months, offered a unique approach to learning, combining self-paced study, live sessions, close-knit group interactions, and one-on-one mentorship. This diverse learning experience empowered the graduates to acquire essential skills in using Kiwix effectively.

The graduates are now equipped with the knowledge and tools to create a positive impact in their respective communities. With their newfound expertise in Kiwix, they are poised to make a difference and promote learning and knowledge sharing in their countries.

The Kiwix4Schools Africa Mentorship Program not only celebrated the achievements of these young minds but also strengthened the bond among participants, mentors, and the Kiwix community.
