General informtion

ESTIA is organizing an Edit-a-thon with the collaboration of Human rights campaign 2022. Students from the engineering school are invited to add content to articles related to: Climate change, pollution and biodiversity. In this event, we are looking to enhance Freanch, Spanish and basque versions of wikipedia.

Join us and help in reducing the knowledge gap between the English Version of Wikipedia and other native languages.

Do not worry about how to edit Wikipedia! There will be a training session to introduce new editors to Wikipedia!

This event is organized with the collaboration Human rights campaign 2022, organized by Wikimedia Foundation.

What is an edit-a-thon?

A Wikipedia edit-a-thon is an organized event where a group of people come together to edit and improve Wikipedia pages. The events typically include basic editing training for new editors and may be combined with a more general social meetup. The word is a portmanteau of "edit" and "marathon".
