editWe at the "Wikimedians of Japan User Group" conducted a survey of people who will be participating in the Japanese version of the Wikimedia project in 2023. In this session, I will report the results and present a discussion of the results. In this session, we will share how the participants of the Japanese version of the Wikimedia Project are structured and behave, and discuss issues with the participants.
Relationship to ESEAP or to the theme
editThere is an opinion in the Wikimedia Project Japanese community that the behavior of participants is different compared to participants in other languages. I would like to share the results of this survey with other language users, find out whether other language versions have similar problems, and discuss solutions to those problems with the participants to improve the Japanese version. We believe that Wikimedia Project participants will be able to "Collaborate beyond the horizon".
