Established on August 18, 2023, at the Wikimania Singapore 2023, the Kent Wiki Club at IPGM Campus Kent is dedicated to the global promotion of the Kadazandusun language and culture through the Wikimedia platform. The club's primary objective is to introduce the richness of Kadazandusun's language and culture, starting at the local community level and expanding its influence globally. By fostering collaborative partnerships with Wikimedia ESEAP, the Kent Wiki Club aims to elevate the Kadazandusun heritage from IPGM Campus Kent to the broader community and eventually to an international audience. Through this initiative, the club envisions creating a substantial impact on the global appreciation and understanding of Kadazandusun's linguistic and cultural uniqueness.
