As one one of the recipients, i would like to thank Wikimedia Foundation for granting me the half sponsorship to attend this conference and to stand as one of the Lighting Talk presenter and participant for the whole three days event. This half sponsorship saved my own expenses while enjoying meals (morning tea break, lunch and afternoon tea break). Thank you so Wikimedia Foundation. The ESEAP Conference 2024 is the third regional conference for Wikimedia communities in the East, Southeast Asia, and Pacific (ESEAP) region. It took place in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia on May 10th to 12th, 2024. The conference aims to bring together ESEAP contributors for three days of meet-up, training, workshops, and discussions to strengthen collaboration within the community. The theme for this year conference is "Collaboration beyond the horizon.

• I had the opportunity to present a talk on ‘Wikimedia’s role in collaborating with IPGM (MTTI) Kent Campus to promote and preserve the Kadazandusun Language which I shared the Kadazandusun Language background in IPGM (MTTI) Kent Campus, Kent Wiki Club activities since it was officially established on August 18, 2023 at Wikimania Singapore and photos related. I also shared outcomes and future planning for Kent Wiki Club that help in growth of Kadazandusun Language and other endangered language with collaboration with Wikimedia. Therefore, I hope that Kent Wiki Club will to be registred under Registrar of Society (ROS) Malaysia in order to conduct more activities in preserving Kadazandusun language and culture properly with proper funding management.

Things the participant contributed or participated in or since the conference;

• Writing reports about my experience of the Wikimedia ESEAP 2024. • Shared about my experience through media social. • Shared my efforts as a Head of Kadazandusun Language on preserving ethnic language locally and globally.

Plans after the conference (from what was learned or contributed in the conference;

• Preparing for more project of Kent Wiki Club related culture, language, arts, concert, research, article writing, seminar etc.in 2024 - 2025. • Plan to initiate more projects to boost community participation in preserving ethnic language throughout Malaysia and the world through Wikimedia sepecially in promoting the Kadazandusun Language.

Comments/ suggestions about the conference;

• Extending the duration of the conference to 5 days as three days pass very quickly to create new memories with fellow Wikimedians.

• Providing accomodations such as hotel/lodjing, foods and transport for presenter and speaker for making them feel confortable and appreciated.
