Wikimania 2023: What you need to know

Abstract/description

Wikimania 2023 is the 18th edition of the Wikimedia Movement's largest gathering/ event. It will be hosted by ESEAP and it composed of an in-person conference in Singapore and a virtual component similar to what happened in the 2021 and 2022 editions. The lightning talk will tell the participants a nutshell information about Wikimania and the status of its event planning on the timeline.

Relationship to ESEAP or to the theme

ESEAP will be directly involved in the planning and execution of the event. Affiliates and community members need to be informed on how they would be involved in the event and how they would contribute to its program content.
