ESEAP Conference 2022 Report from Rahmatdenas

Things learned at the conference

• Obtaining a wealth of understanding and information from different countries in other regions, especially Wikimedia project.
• The realization that we have encountered the same issue of maintaining volunteer retention and how they handle and address the challenges.
• It is surprising to me that there are so few people who are aware of Wikidata.

Things the participant contributed or participated in the conference

• Participating in few surveys, including a survey about "Old Timers" Who They are & Why They Keep on Volunteering.

Plans after the conference (from what was learned or contributed in the conference)

• I will be conducting a Wikidata class in Padang collaborating with Wikimedia Indonesia.
• I will try to promote Wikidata more than before.
• Keep informing my community's member about what happen in ESEAP hub

Comments/ suggestions about the conference

• The entire event is wonderful and it will be an unforgettable experience for me.
• Thanks to the ESEAP committee that always assists me whenever I have any difficulties.
