User:Mirwin/Discussion of how to prototype beneficial user bug buddy community sites to support free software projects

Text below started as identical to advogato article response. Watch what happens if a few people get interested in helping develop into a serious proposal to evaluate or use in an appendix of a future project/business plan. w:user:mirwin

Got some extra plus plenty of spelling errors above left in for your convenience. Click on the <edit this page button below or to the right and make some minor corrections. Leave a bug or two or add your own draft ideas for the next guy. The editor is very similar to advogato's if you stick to text initially.

When finished with edit, check out the history to the right. It has links to diffs and previous versions, convenient yes?

Say, I should mention to the software developers how useful advogato's little syntax allowed guide at the bottom is. Maybe they could put a link to the style guide on this entry form. user:mirwin

In the FAQ on the main page of wikipedia somebody asks how to get their own wiki project space setup. w:Jimbo Wales (Owner of Bomis, Nudpedia.com, co-founder of Wikipedia.com) mentions wikicities.com? or something like. Mentions it is not ready but something might be worked.

Should prepare formal executive summary for Jimbo or invite him to collaborate?

I think I will go mention to Jimbo that this experiment is here if he wishes to watch it develop. I will also mention that this is a preliminary headsup and that if successful some preliminary experiment results may show up as a prettier more formal executive summary. user:mirwin
