Creative Commons community

The Creative Commons community is the network of volunteer community organizations who participate in activities to advance the Creative Commons mission. This community differs from the Creative Commons organization and its paid staff.

Community organization

The Creative Commons community may be like the Wikimedia community in some ways. An excellent collaboration between the Creative Commons community and Wikimedia community could be exchanging best practices for community organization in a global nonprofit free and open media volunteer collective.

People

The Creative Commons community has overlap with the Wikimedia community. Based on searches in Wikimedia projects, the following people seem to have been highly active in Creative Commons community organization, and also, participated in some Wikimedia community organization projects.
