Purpose of registrationEdit
The purpose of the registration is to recruit volunteers for small languages Wikipedia such as the Yoruba Wikipedia, Hausa Wikipedia, Igbo Wikipedia. This is to support the growth of small languages Wikipedia.
What information we collectEdit
The registration form collects your responses to the questions asked. We collect your contact information but we do not collect your IP address. The information is not collected on behalf of the WMF, its staff, functionaries or the Wikimedia Community .
Information sharing and disclosureEdit
The results of this registration form may be shared publicly in the following manner; Aggregate data about the defined-response questions will be published on meta.wikimedia.org but your contact information will not be published.
Raw data may be shared with the project team, who need to process this information and are subject to non-disclosure obligations, and with the Wikimedia Foundation, with the exception of the circumstances described below. We may disclose any collected information when required by law, when we have your permission, when needed to protect our rights, privacy, safety, users, or the general public.
Thanks for your interest in Yoruba Wikipedia. Please note that the goal of this training is to create and share free knowledge in Yoruba, not promoting one's business or person. Note that this is a volunteer activity with no financial reward and by no means an employment by Wikipedia, its functionary or the WMF that operates Wikipedia.
The raw data collected in this registration form will be retained until the Contribute to Wikipedia in your Language Campaign project is complete or for 180 days, whichever is sooner.
