Avion GLAM and WMFI are two separate groups, keeping the options open for how to evolve and where to go in the future.
GLAM School,
Internal advocacy is needed to keep tools working and to show the importance of having the infrastructure in place for collaborations and technical parts of projects.
Some change in metrics, but still a lot of focus on bytes and number of uploads rather than change in state of mind such as opening up a collection or getting people to accept free knowledge as a natural thing.
Look beyond only large collections to open up for smaller odd collections.
The GLAM movement needs to “centralize” and be better able to document and catalogue tools and ways to work to make it easier for GLAMs around the world to collaborate.
