Allow grouping of blocks and protections

Problem: Sometimes vandals/disruptors will be hitting a group of related articles (like, one about an upcoming election, then candidates and parties involved in that election). Likewise blocked vandals/disruptors often go to other IPs to evade and sock, and it is common for admins to extend the block on the IP used originally if there was one.
To fully protect and block in these circumstances, it is necessary to enter the information for each protection/block separately.
Proposed solution: Make it possible to link the expiration dates for blocks/protections to other such actions, so they all run concurrently.
Who would benefit: Admins who will be able to work more efficiently, and good-faith users who will have less risk of their work being interrupted by a previously blocked IP suddenly free to disrupt again, or an article suddenly becoming unprotected.

Neutral I'm not sure I see a direct need. People don't operate to exact minutes, so if someone is unblocked shortly after a page is unprotected, there's no real loss. Additionally, having individual protections means admins must look at each page individually anyway, and at that point they may as well protect as they go. Support CentralAuth already provides a MassLock interface; I think an extension implementing similar tools for regular admin actions would be a useful alternative to the scripts currently forked dozens of times because of limited maintenance (cf. A09's comment above). See also mw:Extension:MassEditRegex. ~~~~
