Problem: Currently Wikidata do not sort claims of a property and it could cause terrible mess. Many templates on a lot of Wikipedias load their parameters from Wikidata, so there are thousands of articles where parameters (e.g. awards) aren't in ordinal scale (but they should be). Fixing is very hard or almost impossible, because the only way to do it is deleting and re-adding every claims.
It would be great and will simplify reading of some properties having multiple values. I’ve written a script specifically for software version identifier (P348) but a Wikibase-integrated solution would be better. I just added some ideas in the Phabricator task, basically to allow editors to define themselves the order instead of hardcoding it in Wikibase. ~ Seb35[^_^]12:17, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Support I would like to see this, but take into account that some claims should be sorted by other qualifieres (see my note above). U+1F360 (talk) 21:04, 19 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Support Yes, we should be able to specify different ordering for different properties: by date qualifier, alphabetically, or by some other qualifiers. Jarekt (talk) 05:18, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
