Expand functionality of the map editor in VisualEditor

Problem: To edit maps created with Kartographer, a user need to edit GeoJSON. This makes it a lot harder to make functional maps. Now it is hard to know how to add different kinds of pushpins (which ones are even available) and how to style them.
Who would benefit: More editors would be able to make better maps which in the end would benefit readers.
Proposed solution: Make an editor with fields/dropdown menus for properties/markers so that need for editing the GeoJSON code gets minimized.
