Community Resources/Grants Strategy Relaunch 2020-2021/Get involved
The new Grants Strategy has been launched. See Grants:Start. |
Get involved!
Community input is essential to making sure that our new grants strategy best meets your needs. The Community Resources team has therefore created a process that reviews existing community input around grants, validates those conclusions with representatives from the community with an eye toward this redesign effort, and offers community members opportunities to share feedback on the ultimate proposal.
We invite you to share the proposal page and this engagement page through the communication channels in your Wikimedia project or organization, to support broad feedback from your community.
Options for feedback and engagement
editThere are multiple ways to discuss your thoughts and opinions on the Grants Relaunch Strategy. We plan to use this feedback to make additional changes or revisions to the proposal, as well as to confirm changes that have received positive feedback.
For community members who would like to share their views, there are four ways to participate:
Feedback form
editYou are welcome to complete an anonymous form to provide feedback, and your responses will support changes in shaping the final proposal. The form is supported by Google Forms and contains the following questions:
- What is your region?
- Do you feel the new grants strategy is aligned with the strategic direction of the movement?
- Are we missing any other major needs or priorities?
- What concerns do you have about this proposal? Are there any challenges in this structure that would affect your work as a volunteer?
- Is there any other feedback you would like to give us?
Privacy Statement: General statistics about the responses to this form, including some anonymous quotes, will be published on meta.wikimedia.org. Your full responses will only be shared with Wikimedia Foundation staff and contractors, and will be deleted within 90 days. For questions about this form, contact communityresources wikimedia.org.
