This page document the Code for Africa Climate change project activities in Nigeria in partnership with International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) and Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD), in tackling climate denialism and related mis/disinformation on Wikipedia.

Selected volunteers will be involved in Wikipedia editing, research, and uploading of climate-related information weekly as guided by WiR. The volunteers will participate by:

  1. Reviewing and updating/correcting existing content on climate change or related topics published on Wikipedia.
  2. Identifying coordinated edits/uploads that distort Wikipedia content.
  3. Researching and uploading debunks/clarifications/corrections on persistent misinformation.
  4. Researching and uploading new relevant and topical information on climate change issues on Wikipedia.
