Chapters Committee/Resolutions/Approval of Wikimedia UK (2) - November 2008
Per the recommendation of the Chapters Committee, which confirms that the board of Wiki Educational Resources Limited has conveyed its intention to wind up this company, and which confirms that the structure and bylaws of Wiki UK Limited (d/b/a Wikimedia UK) comply with the current requirements and guidelines for future chapters, it is hereby resolved that:
The Board of Trustees revokes the recognition as Wikimedia chapter of Wiki Educational Resources Limited and takes the necessary steps to terminate all existing trademark or other agreements.
The Board of Trustees officially recognizes Wiki UK Limited (d/b/a Wikimedia UK) as a Wikimedia Chapter.
