Chapters Committee/Resolutions/Approval of Wikimedia NYC - December 2008

Per the recommendation of the Chapters Committee, which confirms that the structure and bylaws of Wikimedia NYC comply with the current requirements and guidelines for future chapters, it is hereby resolved that:

The Board of Trustees officially recognizes Wikimedia NYC as a Sub-National Chapter as defined in Wikimedia Foundation: A Framework for Encouraging the Development of Sub-National Chapters.
The Board of Trustees grants Wikimedia NYC interim permission to use the Wikimedia trademarks pending signature of the Chapters Agreement.
