As creator of the site chainki.org, an open content version of the Open Directory Project, I would be interested in discussing the Wikimedia Foundation taking over the project.

For the moment I am happy to kick the thing off, certainly following the guidance on this site that "If you want to create a new wiki, it will probably be faster to start it elsewhere than to wait for the Wikimedia Foundation to adopt it as a project.", I think it is much easier for people to see the concept actualised rather than just suggesting the vague notion "dmoz + wiki" which is a bit of a no-brainer.

I'm not even sure what advantages such a move might have: some sort of "official" non-profit stamp of approval of the site which would I suppose encourage more people to join up as editors.
