What is the purpose of the campaign? How will you measure the success of the campaign?
editDescription - Wikipedia Asian Month 2024
Metrics - Article counts improve from the historic table here. It would also be amazing if more users could participate, compared to previous editions.

Discussion
editHi! This is my first proposal for a banner, so, please, feel free to tell me how to improve it in any way.
In Spanish Wikipedia, I have been organizing the local edition of the Asian Month for the past 2 years. It is sad to see such an interesting project, and one that started my contributions to the Spanish Wikipedia, loose users every year, going from 42 at its best moment to 18 in last year's edition.
I think a banner could greatly improve discovery of this event, which offers a soft, cute landing for new users, and an interesting objective for more experienced users.
Thanks for your time! --Marion Moseby (talk) 21:39, 23 October 2024 (UTC)

edit- @Marion Moseby: Thanks for the preparation of the banner, however, it doesn't work on mobile with me. Can you please check the preview yourself (see link below)? I also removed the Montserrat font because we've had problems with importing fonts recently. Please also note my other ping with the conflicting campaign of Wikimedia Arentina. Furthermore, we would usually expect a local announcement of banner campaigns but as this is a returing campaign, it isn't necessary. — I have created the campaign and banner. Please check the desktop and mobile versions of the display. Do you have the same problems as I do? I can activate the campaign for desktop now if you approve it. Please don't forget to ping me. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 18:54, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @DerHexer:, thanks for your comments! I wasn't really aware there was a template for Notice messages, so I just copied one from somewhere; it makes sense that it doesn't work 😅. I have re-designed the banner based on the one from Argentina that you linked (thanks, btw, for the coordination efforts!). If you can update the preview with the new code from my Workshop, that would be super useful! I cannot update it myself, as it seems like I don't have the right permissions. Other than that, if the preview works for you (it does for me on mobile and desktop), I definetely approve you activating the campaign! --Marion Moseby (talk) 18:02, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Marion Moseby: I've changed the banner accordingly. It looks good to me on desktop and mobile. Therefore, I have activated the campaign. Best, —DerHexer (Talk) 20:39, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
